It’s a week of back-to-back nights of “The Bachelor” on ABC, and a Charlotte therapist and model is still looking for love on the hit reality dating show.
Picking up from Monday night’s episode, which ended before a rose ceremony, we finally got to see what happened with 31-year-old Madina Alam, who was caught up in some drama again this week.
This week, Madina and 14 other women traveled overseas to Malta with tennis pro Joey Graziadei.
But after Monday night’s medieval group date and a chance to get closer with the bachelor, Tuesday’s episode revealed what happened after Madina found herself once again entangled in the Sydney-Maria feud (which we detailed in our Ep. 3 recap).
In Monday’s episode, Lea confronted Madina at the cocktail party about how she handled the drama between the two women, especially after Sydney was sent home. Lea didn’t think Madina acted sad enough about Sydney’s departure.
While Madina and Lea agreed to disagree, the drama wasn’t over.
So how did tonight’s episode end? Keep an eye on our story as we recap what happened and who went home without a rose.
SPOILERS AHEAD.
More drama in Malta
Though the drama only involved Maria, Sydney and Madina — and now Lea — all of the women in the group felt the tension at the cocktail party.
Even then, we saw Madina comforting a very upset Maria, who was crying about being called out again for allegedly causing problems in the group.
Despite all the conflict during the cocktail party, Madina did get a rose from Joey during the rose ceremony at the beginning of the episode.
Who got eliminated in Round 1?
Out of the 13 women left, here’s who was eliminated in the first of two rose ceremonies Tuesday night:
Edwina
Allison
But that’s not all. From there, Joey and the remaining women left Malta and headed to Spain.

Unfortunately, Madina missed out on a 1-on-1 date again in Andalusia, but she and some of the other women got to express their feelings — literally— in an artistic group date in which they had to create a painting with a deeper meaning about their journeys so far.
Of course, all of the women got really creative with their artwork, even if Joey had a hard time guessing the meaning behind some of them.
“This is something,” Madina giggled as she presented her piece.
All in good fun, Joey agreed, saying about her painting: “I’m really trying to not talk about that ‘cause I have no idea what that is.”
Did Madina get a rose?
We didn’t see much more of Madina in the night portion of the group date or even during the cocktail party.
In the end, she was one of the women who did not get a rose during the second rose ceremony.
“I’m sad. I wanted to go on but, like, I am truly happy for him and the girls here,” Madina said. “Obviously I wish the cards were different for me. I would love to be loved. That’s why I’m here…I’m proud of myself for coming here and opening my heart to Joey but there was so much drama. I don’t feel like we got to know each other.”
Who else got eliminated during the second rose ceremony?
In addition to Madina, Autumn was also sent home, leaving nine women to vie for the heart of the Bachelor.
