Register as a “Sleep In Supporter” or head out to watch the Drop Dead 5K, presented by Avidxchange and Church Street Realty, before taking a guided tour of the grounds The sold-out race will take place entirely within the 70+ acres of Charlotte’s Historic Elmwood/Pinewood Cemetery, with the course winding through the roadways past the likes of Belk, Ivey, Morrison, Tate and Blake. Celebrate loved ones who have passed away at the 18th Annual Festival Día de Muertos, hosted by the Latin American Coalition and Levine Museum. The family-friendly event will feature awards for altars called ofrendas, plus traditional foods, arts and crafts, traditional dances, and activities for children. Free.
