These streets will be closed ahead of tonight’s Beyoncé concert in Charlotte

The streets of uptown are expected to be packed with fans for Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour stop at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Wednesday, meaning some roads and intersections will be closed ahead of the show.

According to the Bank of America Stadium website, doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and V.I.P. Early Entry is 6 p.m. The show begins at 8 p.m.

The following intersections will be closed starting around 3 p.m. in preparation for the show, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department:

  • Mint Street at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

  • Graham Street at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

  • Church Street at First Street

  • Church Street at Brooklyn Village Avenue

The following roads will be closed for Beyonce merchandise sales from 11 a.m.-11:30 p.m., according to the City of Charlotte GIS website:

  • Brooklyn Village Avenue, between Mint Street and Church Street

  • Mint Street, between Morehead Street and Graham Street

  • South Graham Street, between Mint Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

Also plan detours for the surface streets around the stadium, which will also be closed or partially closed, starting at 3 p.m.
