Charlotte rapper DaBaby had a message for fans after his latest album soared to No. 1 on Billboard magazine’s top 200 album chart.
“Thanks for the love & support,” DaBaby posted on Instagram with a heart emoji.
“Blame It on Baby” unseated R&B singer The Weeknd’s “After Hours,” which topped the chart for a month, Billboard reported.
DaBaby’s album was released April 17 by SouthCoast/Interscope Records, according to the magazine.
DaBaby also topped the Billboard album chart in 2019 with his second album, “Kirk.” The rapper’s legal name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk
DaBaby has become a national celebrity over the past couple of years with the success of his albums, singles and videos.
He has performed as the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live,” been nominated for Grammy Awards and danced on stage at the BET Awards.
