The Charlotte Observer held a live event on Thursday, February 24 at 7 p.m. about the importance of Black family history.

Experts and people in the community shared their expertise on the topic, and we addressed how to trace ancestry beyond ancestry.com and 23andme, named some challenges people face in the process and offered tips and solutions. Viewers heard the panel share gripping stories about their personal experiences.
