See 4-acre Lake Norman waterfront estate for sale on a secluded, wooded ridge
Rich and Lori Campe love the serenity, seclusion and 360-degree views of Lake Norman on their four-acre waterfront estate.
They enjoy the elevated “memory garden,” whose stone path leads to a fire pit where they watch the sun rise and set.
They’ve found the garden perfect “for both quiet reflection and memorable entertaining,” Hasnaa Abitol, the Coldwell Banker Realty agent who listed the estate, told The Charlotte Observer on Friday.
They are now selling their estate for $5.3 million, as they focus on their investment portfolio in Saint Simons Island, Georgia, Abitol said in an email.
On a private, wooded ridge in the 9100 block of Greenwood Road, their home in Terrell, Catawba County, includes 1,200 feet of shoreline.
The couple hosted countless gatherings in their 5,200-square-foot, Mediterranean-style home about 35 miles northwest of Charlotte.
“They have cherished this extraordinary lakefront estate during their ownership,” Abitol said.
Two-story stone fireplace, sunlit great room
As principal CEO of Pro Advisor Coach, Rich Campe has consulted for Bank of America, CitiBank, Nextel and other Fortune 500 companies over 20 years, according to his bio on Linked in.
Built in 2006, the couple’s Terrell home has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. A two-story stone fireplace anchors the sunlit great room and connects to the gourmet kitchen, according to its listing.
The couple bought the home in 2021 for about $2.2 million, public property tax records show.
“Resort-style amenities have also been central to their enjoyment,” Abitol said.
She mentioned the luxury spa pool with hot tub; floating dock; sandy beach; and Japanese garden with a waterfall.
