With a budget of $300,000, prospective buyers can find lots of options in Sugar Creek, Thomasboro-Hoskins, Shannon Grove and Hickory Grove.
However, less expensive homes can also be found in Plaza Midwood, NoDa and LoSo, as well as some of the suburbs, such as Huntersville, Cornelius and Mint Hill.
