Police investigate fatal I-85 crash near Charlotte’s airport Saturday
Police are investigating a fatal Interstate 85 crash near Charlotte Douglas International Airport on Saturday.
The wreck happened around 3 a.m. on I-85 southbound at the Little Rock Road exit, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said on social media site X.
I-85 remained closed for around two hours, according to DriveNC.gov, the state’s real-time traffic information site.
Police haven’t released further details.
