Overturned tractor trailer causes delays on I-485 inner loop in Matthews
Traffic was delayed on Interstate 485 in Matthews Thursday afternoon after an overturned tractor trailer closed an eastbound ramp, according to police.
The crash occurred just before 3 p.m. on the I-485 inner loop ramp at Highway 74, near Union County, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation.
The Matthews Police Department said at 4:15 p.m. that the scene would take an hour to clear.
It is unclear if anyone was injured.
