Man arrested for shooting three Wells Fargo ATMs in Charlotte

A man has been arrested for allegedly shooting three Wells Fargo ATMs in Charlotte and another in Belmont, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Johnny Rivera, 37, was arrested Saturday and is in custody at the Mecklenburg County Jail for shooting the ATMs Friday night, according to CMPD.

The ATMs were located in CMPD’s Providence, Steele Creek and Westover divisions.

Rivera is charged with shooting into occupied property and three counts of injury to personal property. As of Monday afternoon, he had not received a bond, according to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office records.
