Concord police searching for 16-year-old suspect in double shooting homicide
The Concord Police Department is searching for a 16-year-old boy who is a suspect in a double homicide, police said in a press release.
Raheem Jeroy “Roy” Glascoe, Jr., 16, is accused of shooting and killing two people on Jan. 26 and faces first-degree and second-degree murder charges.
Glascoe is also facing charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of discharging a weapon into a moving vehicle, the press release said.
One victim was found shot in the chest in the 1200 block of Kite Court Northeast at 8:11 p.m., police said. That person was transported to a hospital and later died.
The other victim was found in a stopped vehicle on Douglas Avenue Northwest with a gunshot to the head. That person was also transported to the hospital and later died.
Neither victim has been identified.
Glascoe is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached, the department said. He lives on Crowell Drive Southwest in Concord and is known to frequent the Greens of Concord apartment complex.
