Concord teen suspect in double homicide turns himself in, charged as adult

A teenager accused of fatally shooting two people on Jan. 26 in Concord turned himself in to the police on Monday and was charged as an adult, according the police department.

The Concord Police Department said Raheem Jeroy “Roy” Glascoe Jr., 16, was charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and two counts of discharging a weapon in a moving vehicle.

The teenager is accused of shooting one person in the chest in the 1200 block of Kite Court Northeast and another in the head in Glascoe’s car, which was found stopped on Douglas Avenue Northwest last week.

Both victims were taken to the hospital, but later died. Police have not released their names.
