Husband killed wife in Waxhaw home before killing himself, police say
Waxhaw police said a man killed his wife at their home before killing himself Thursday afternoon, according to a news release Friday.
Police said Inol Toussaint, 49, killed his wife Eusther Toussaint, 42, before going out to their backyard to shoot himself.
The incident occurred at 4:20 p.m. in the 8200 block of Prescott Glen Parkway, according to the news release. The N.C. State Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation, the department said.
An autopsy is scheduled later on Friday to determine the causes of death, the news release said.
“We want our community to know that help and resources are available for anyone experiencing domestic violence, and we encourage those who need support to reach out,” Police Chief Dexter Wilson said in the news release.
