Person hospitalized after passing out on an aircraft at Charlotte Douglas airport

A person who passed out on an aircraft at Charlotte Douglas International Airport was transported to the hospital Wednesday, an airport spokesperson said.

MEDIC responded to an American Airlines Hangar at 5020 Hangar Road at 11 a.m. to remove the person, the spokesperson said.

The airport did not provide further details. The person was not an American Airlines employee.

A hazmat truck appeared on scene.
