The Charlotte Observer wants you to help shape our local news coverage of school safety.

Depending on the length of your responses, it should take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

We want to know what you’ve experienced in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools — whether as a student, parent, teacher, volunteer or community member — and we want to know your ideas for making things better.

In the survey (hosted by Google Forms), you’ll have the option to write a response or upload other media forms in order to participate. You can record your response on your phone with video and audio, for example. Or you can express yourself through art or illustration and upload that file.
