The Charlotte Observer asked candidates running to represent Mecklenburg and surrounding counties in the U.S. House of Representatives biographical and issue-focused questions ahead of the November election.

The 2022 election is Tuesday, Nov. 8. In-person early voting begins Oct. 20.
