The Observer’s Sweet 16 poll: minor changes, everybody still following Hough
With many teams not playing last week, there wasn’t much change in the Observer’s Sweet 16 poll.
North Mecklenburg made a jump to No. 13 and Kings Mountain fell six spots to No. 16 after being upset by a Shelby team that had lost three straight.
The top nine teams remained the same, led by No. 1 Hough, which is averaging nearly 44 points. For the season, the Huskies have allowed 22 points.
