The Charlotte Observer Mobile Newsroom

In partnership with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Library, The Charlotte Observer launched a community-based newsroom that will make it easier for residents in parts of town often underrepresented in our coverage to talk to us and get to know our reporters, editors and photographers. Just as important, Observer journalists will get to know people in communities that we admittedly have often overlooked.
