Florida State’s Dwayne Bacon was picked by the Charlotte Hornets with the 40th pick of the NBA draft.
Bacon is a 6-foot-6, 220-pound forward who averaged 15.8 points as a freshman and 17.2 points as a sophomore. He averaged five rebounds per game in his career. Bacon came to Charlotte as part of a trade with New Orleans.
