When it comes to 2022 food and drink trends, tequila and Mezcal will continue to rise in popularity — but cognac will take the stage, said Tamu Curtis of The Cocktailery in Charlotte.

The Cocktailery is a retail shop dedicated to craft drinks. It opened in September at Atherton Mills in South End.

Watch the video above as Curtis teaches us how to make a Cognac Peach Snazzle (recipe below).

Cognac Peach Snazzle

1/2 oz. Amaro

1 1/2 oz. Hennessy

1/2 oz. Honey simple syrup

1/2 oz. lemon juice

5-6 dashes Fee Brother peach bitters

Use shaker and shake with ice and strain. Express lemon peel over cocktail. Finish with a lemon twist.
