With an ever-evolving culinary scene like Charlotte’s, the city has been eagerly awaiting to be served into the national spotlight on a Michelin Star platter.
There is a long list of new concepts and classic eats that many have been rooting for to be recognized with the prestigious title.
Digging a little deeper, an old Reddit thread reveals which fan-favorite spots some think are worthy of being named among the world’s best of the best.
Five years ago, a user posted in the Charlotte discussion group asking if “Are there any Michelin Star rated restaurants in, or around, Charlotte?”
After learning that there were none at all across the Carolinas, many responses poured in after the original poster asked for personal suggestions of top-tier restaurants in the area.
