A Saturday Valentine’s Day? Book your Charlotte reservations now or start apologizing

Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate all things love — family, close friends, romantic partners and, don’t forget, yourself.

The holiday, often marked with chocolates and fragrant flower bouquets, falls on a Saturday this year. Snagging a reservation in Charlotte could prove especially difficult for those who celebrate, but it’s not impossible.

Restaurants across the city will host curated dinners and events to mark the special occasion. There are even Galentine’s Day events for you and your besties.

Here’s a list of Valentine’s Day events and offerings to check out this year:

The Asbury

Location: 235 N Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202

Guests can book a four-course meal at The Asbury in uptown from Feb. 13-15. Expect classic dishes such as crab-topped fried green tomatoes, New York strip steak, double chocolate bread pudding and more.

Dinner starts at $65 per person, excluding taxes, gratuity and drinks.

Charlotte-area Cupids, Cocktails & Crafts

Location: Various

The 3rd annual Cupids, Cocktails & Crafts event will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and includes 45 participating restaurants and breweries across Charlotte, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Lake Wylie, Indian Land and Waxhaw.

One dollar ($1) from all cocktail, craft beer and wine sales will be donated to the CF Foundation.

Ever Andalo

Location: 3116 N Davidson St, Charlotte, NC 28205

At Ever Andalo, customers can choose from a curated brunch or dinner experience to mark Valentine’s Day this year. The featured brunch menu is available Feb. 14-15 and includes:

  • Heart-Shaped Pancakes: pomegranate whipped cream
  • Lemon Meringue Panna Cotta: toasted meringue, lemon curd, candied lemon peel
  • Lobster Risotto: butter poached lobster tail, fortified stock, poached egg, roe

For dinner, customers can choose from dishes including:

  • Beausoleil Oysters: pomegranate mignonette, lemon granita
  • Beef Tartare: cured egg yolk, espelette, wagyu, toasted focaccia, caviar
  • Lobster Veloute: tagliatelle, poached lobster tail, lemon zest, caviar
  • Lemon Ricotta Carmelles: lemon ricotta stuffed pasta, salsa rosa, parmigiano reggiano
  • Herb-Crusted Lamb Rack: cherry demi
  • Grilled Halibut: acqua pazza, lemon powder
  • Heart-Shaped Seadas: pecorino dolce, hot honey, powdered sugar

Fahrenheit

Location: 222 S Caldwell St 21st Floor, Charlotte, NC 28202

Fahrenheit’s special Valentine’s Day menu will be offered a la carte Feb. 12-15 alongside the restaurant’s regular menu.

Options include:

  • Starters: Cocktail shrimp or XO Tuna Roll
  • Entree: Mishima wagyu ribeye finished tableside with black truffle and herb butter, and truffle fries; or baked Chilean sea bass with miso-lemon butter, sticky rice, sauteed spinach, sweet bell pepper, radish and microgreens
  • Dessert: Espresso martini cheesecake or strawberry creme brulee

Fahrenheit is also offering a Girls Night Out option on Thursdays in February from 5-7 p.m. The $30+ per person special includes a martini or mocktail, a sushi roll and fries.

Foxcroft Food & Wine if offering Valentine’s Day specials Feb 10–16, including Seared Diver Scallops, paired with roasted beets and a bright citrus salad, silky celery root purée and blood orange beurre blanc, finished with crispy fennel fronds ($44). For dessert, Foxcroft has a Mini Baked Alaska with vanilla sponge cake layered with pomegranate gelato, wrapped in toasted meringue and finished with citrus-pomegranate coulis and delicate edible flowers ($15).

Galentine’s at The Goodyear House

Location: 3032 N Davidson St, Charlotte, NC 28205

From Feb. 8-12, The Goodyear House’s Galentine’s girl dinner features a Shaken Fry Bag, Golden Beet Crisp Dip lettuce wraps, al pastor wings, and prosecco. It’s $15 per person for a minimum of two people.

It’s also offering a three-course Valentine’s menu for $80 per person:

  • First course: Choice of classic shrimp cocktail, crispy rice balls, NC clams or golden beet salad
  • Second course: scallops a la plancha, mafaldine, chicken schnitzel or steak for two ($40 supplement, served family-style)
  • Third course: spumoni, tiramisu in the tropics or Cheerwine float

Haberdish

Haberdish will host a Valentine’s Day dinner for guests featuring:

  • Cornbread: brown butter seared, goat cheese, chili fermented sorghum espuma, fennel-frisee-micro green salad, smoky collard green-mustard vinaigrette
  • Beet Salad: pickled beets, brie, fermented garlic scape, candied hazelnut, aged sugar rush peach pepper rosé vinaigrette, carrot puree, radicchio
  • Chicken and Waffles: choice of chicken tossed in foie gras-Nashville sauce, pickled red onion, pecan gremolata
  • Pan-Seared Salmon: sweet potato grits, rhubarb conserva, pink peppercorn chili crunch, bacon vinaigrette, salmon roe, micro greens
  • Chocolate Mousse: beaujolais cream, candied orange, white chocolate crumb, strawberry dust

Habibi Lebanon Bar + Grill

The Valentine’s Day menu at this Mediterranean bistro features a four-course dinner, starting at $95 per person. Customers can choose from:

  • Hors d’oeuvres: Stuffed grape leaves, sambousik cheese, beef kibbeh or garlic cilantro shrimp
  • Soups + salads: Tabbouleh, lobster bisque or lentil soup
  • Entrées: Habibi grill (all lamb), mixed grill or seafood grill kebabs
  • Dessert: Banoffee pie or baklava

Hermanita

Hermanita will host its first-ever Valentine’s Day pop-up, La Serenata. The experience will run Monday, Feb. 9 until Sunday, Feb. 22, and feature “heart-filled decor, charro imagery (a historically used term to describe a Mexican horseman from the countryside), candlelight and other unexpected playful touches,” according to a news release.

Customers can explore a new cocktail menu featuring the Dos Hongos corn whiskey-rum old fashioned and the Curryosa curry-tamarind margarita. Food specials will include lobster burritos and fajitas, alongside regular menu options.

At Leluia Hall, customers can enjoy a curated Valentine’s Day (Feb. 10-15) dinner featuring:

  • 18 oz. Tomahawk Berkshire Pork Chop: salt & sugar cure, nduja and garlic sauce, chimichurri
  • Sweet & Savory Beets: peanut and chili purée, onion, fresh herbs
  • Tuna Carpaccio: rangpur lime dressing, urfa oil, benne seed dust, rangpur lime zest, micro green salad

Mama Ricotta’s

Mama Ricotta’s invites customers to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a curated wine tasting featuring 11 wines, an antipasti table and chef-crafted appetizers. The event starts at 4:30 p.m., and you must be 21 or older.

Museum of Illusions Charlotte

From Feb. 7-15, MOI Charlotte will display festive decorations and host themed activities for guests celebrating Valentine’s Day. The purchase of two adult tickets also comes with a 14% discount on Valentine’s Day merch.

Napa’s three-course Love at First Bite menu is available Feb. 13-14 for $75 per person.

  • Second course choices: 6 ounce filet and half lobster tail, pan-seared scallops, crusted halibut, brined pork chop, mushroom sugo pappardelle

Nuvole Rooftop TwentyTwo

Valentine’s Day dinner at Nuvole includes a “four-course dining experience set high above the city.” Two time slots are available: a 6 p.m. sunset seating or a 9 p.m. starlight seating.

Pricing starts at $85 per person, excluding taxes and fees. Cocktails, wine pairings or a pre-ordered bottle of champagne are available for purchase.

The special prix fixe menu includes:

  • Appetizer to share: Oysters Rockefeller or charcuterie board
  • Second course: Caesar salad

Locals can enjoy two Valentine’s Day experiences at Sixty Vines in South End.

On Thursday, Feb. 12, the kitchen and wine bar will host a Galentine’s night party replete with rosé flights, signature cocktails, a group selfie booth, friendship bracelets and more. The event is from 6-9 p.m.

The restaurant will also offer a Valentine’s Day featured menu Feb. 13-14. The meal for two includes:

  • A shared starter: Burrata, albondigas, a pick three charcuterie board, or wood-grilled shrimp
  • Entrée (choice of two): Rigatoni, pan-roasted chicken, Atlantic salmon or pork chop, with the option to upgrade to filet mignon.
  • Dessert board: Basque cheesecake, deviled affogato and olive oil citrus cake.

Stoke

Stoke’s Valentine’s Day meal is a $70/per person prix fixe with three courses:

  • Appetizer: Choice of fresh Blue Point oysters, 4-ounce stuffed lobster tails or beef carpaccio
  • Entree: Choice of lobster ravioli, roasted branzino or petite tenderloin (with an option to add on a 6-ounce, butter-poached lobster tail for $16)
  • Dessert: Choice of white chocolate gateau or molten lava cake

Supperland

Supperland will offer a featured dinner during the week of Valentine’s Day (Feb. 10-15), plus a ticketed champagne + caviar event on the actual holiday.

Dinner offerings include:

  • Buttermilk Biscuits: European butter, strawberry jam
  • Oysters: pickled strawberry, cocoa nib vinegar, osetra caviar, shiso
  • A5 Wagyu Tartare: smoked egg yolk, buttermilk & herb spice, bread & butter pickles, grilled porridge bread, dill
