We asked for the most crave-worthy sandwich shops in the Charlotte area, and you jumped at the chance to share your favorites.

On March 2, CharlotteFive invited readers to nominate the best places to eat sandwiches in and around Charlotte. We reviewed your nominations and also asked our staff’s food experts to recommend local staples.

We ended up with a list of 36 restaurants and delis that keep you coming back. Below, you can vote for your favorite Charlotte-area sandwich shop:

The first round of voting is set to close at noon Wednesday, March 11, so don’t hesitate to tell us the sandwich shop you love the most. Please note that this contest is meant to be fun and is not a scientific poll.

The restaurants that went up for a vote had to have a “location in the Charlotte region — which includes surrounding areas such as Lake Norman, Gastonia, Matthews, Mint Hill and Fort Mill — and have fewer than 20 locations nationwide,” CharlotteFive previously reported.
