A storm on its way to the Carolinas could blanket much of N.C. with a thick layer of snow.
Raleigh and Chapel Hill could get around 2 inches of snow, while up to 3 inches are expected in Durham between now and Thursday, The News & Observer reported.
Charlotte has an 80% chance of precipitation on Wednesday, with only rain forecast before 3 p.m, then a chance of rain, snow and sleet at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, The Charlotte Observer reported.
