It’s been a long road for Charlotte’s Ish Smith. After starring for Central Cabarrus High in the mid 2000s, Smith became the second leading assist man of all time at Wake Forest.

When he was traded to the Denver Nuggets last year, he set a record by playing for 13 different NBA franchises. Turns out the move was a good one: Smith is now an NBA champion, with the Nuggets beating the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals this week.
