Cox Mill boys, Ashbrook girls sit atop N.C. 3A media basketball polls

In the latest N.C. Preps statewide media polls, two area schools hold top spots in their respective polls.

In 3A boys, Concord’s Cox Mill maintains its No. 1 spot. The Chargers are defending 3A state champions. In 3A girls, Gastonia Ashbrook’s unbeaten Green Wave is No. 1.

A total of nine media members throughout the state voted on the poll. The Observer was among those nine.
