This Lake Norman steak and seafood restaurant has reopened after months-long repairs
After a months-long closure to make repairs after a fire, Epic Chophouse’s Lake Norman location has reopened in Mooresville.
“Thank you for your patience — but now it’s time to rock and roll! Let’s go!,” the restaurant team posted on Facebook and Instagram.
The fine dining steakhouse and seafood restaurant is known for pairings such as its Smokin’ Hot Couple entree, with filet mignon and Gulf shrimp, along with pasta dishes such as its Nor’easter Lobster and Shrimp Linguine.
Epic Chophouse will also hose its annual Easter brunch buffet.

The restaurant had been closed since a mid-October blaze. A Mooresville Fire-Rescue post said a piece of equipment on the roof caught fire, although restaurant management said the fire started in the kitchen. No one was injured.
Epic Chophouse’s Mooresville location opened in 2010, nestled in a historic building that was once home to a department store. Its Fort Mill restaurant came on board in 2020. A third location is on the way in Greenville, NC, at The Village at North Elm.
