A look inside the new Charlotte restaurant bringing wine country to South End
It’s almost time for a new wine country-inspired restaurant to officially open its doors in Charlotte.
Sixty Vines, often referred to as “the wine-lover’s restaurant,” is opening its first North Carolina restaurant in South End soon. There are multiple locations across the country, but the company’s CEO said the team’s had its eye on Charlotte for a while.
“We look forward to sharing the beauty of wine country with South End,” said Jeff Carcara, CEO of Sixty Vines. “We’re reimagining wine culture with our pinkies down approach, and every plate and pour is designed to inspire adventure and discovery.”
With more than 60 wines on tap, shareables, small bites and seasonal entrées inspired by vineyards around the world, Sixty Vines is designed to give guests a taste of wine country culture whether they’re grabbing a drink or sitting down for a meal.
The new Charlotte restaurant, located at Vantage South End, has both indoor and outdoor seating, including a greenhouse and patio, and will be open for brunch, lunch and dinner.
Sixty Vines in South End will be officially opening Monday, Aug. 21.
