Lovin’ Life Music Fest 2024

Thousands are expected to attend Lovin’ Life Music Fest in uptown Charlotte this weekend, with artists Post Malone, Stevie Nicks and Noah Kahan headlining the event.

The three-day festival will include performances from more than 40 artists, including The Avett Brothers, The Chainsmokers, Dominic Fike and Shaboozey.

The festival is a rain or shine event, meaning the show will go on regardless of the weather — but you may be out of luck if you were hoping for sunny skies all weekend.

Here’s what the Charlotte weather this weekend will be like during the festival, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday

The start of the festival is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 87 degrees.

But if you plan on watching Post Malone’s set at 9:30, you’ll want to bring a rain jacket since there’s a 40 percent chance of rain after 9 p.m..

Saturday

With a high of 79 degrees, it’ll be a little cooler on Saturday, but there’s an 80% chance of rain and thunderstorms.

The 80% rain chance will continue into the evening, with a low of 64 degrees and more thunderstorms expected, so you may have trouble staying dry during performances from Petey Pablo, DaBaby and Stevie Nicks.

Sunday

Sunday’s forecast includes a high of 81 degrees, 70% chance of rain and a possible thunderstorm before 2 p.m., then showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. There’s a 70% chance of precipitation on the last day of the festival.

There’s a 50% chance of rain and 30% chance of thunderstorms Sunday night when Noah Kahan closes out the show. The low will be 64 degrees.
