Realtors and home buyers can attest: Properties in and around Charlotte are selling fast, and at price-points never before seen.

As the Charlotte Observer reported earlier this month, the average home listed sold in about two weeks in May — twice as fast as in the prior year. The median sale price is $330,000 in the Charlotte-metro area, the most recent data show.
