Mali Pillai, Providence Day golf: The Chargers’ junior shot an even par 36 to earn medalist honors on the front nine holes at Cedarwood Country Club on Sept. 24.
Pillai’s play helped Providence Day to a team victory over Cannon School and Charlotte Country Day.
Katie Pilon, Charlotte Country Day field hockey: The Buccaneers’ senior forward scored five goals in a 7-0 win over Covenant Day on Sept. 24.
Pilon also scored two goals in a 4-0 victory at Cary Academy on Sept. 26.
Pilon finished off the week with two more goals in a 7-0 at St. Mary’s on Sept. 27.
