UNC recruit Coby White, Kansas recruit Devon Dotson to play BallIsLife All-American game
Two Carolinas stars will play in the eighth annual Ballislife All-America game Saturday in Norwalk, CA.
UNC recruit Coby White and Kansas recruit Devon Dotson will play in the game, which will feature 20 players ranked in ESPN's top 100 rankings of players in the class of 2018.
The game will also feature UNC recruit Nassir Little, who was MVP of the McDonald's All-American game and the Jordan Brand Classic.
Players come from 12 states nationwide.
White, a 6-foot-5 guard, played high school basketball for Greenfield School in Wilson, N.C.
White played in the McDonald’s All-American game and the Jordan game. He led Greenfield School, in Wilson, to a 25-10 record this season and a N.C. 1A Independent Schools state championship game appearance.
White, who has a 3.19 GPA, averaged 31.1 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists and finished his career with a N.C. record 3,573 points. He was named the Associated Press N.C. player of the year and is a two-time Gatorade N.C. player of the year.
Dotson, an all-state performer who played in the McDonald's All-American game, repeated as the Observer's player of the year in Mecklenburg County.
Dotson, a 6-foot-1 senior guard, averaged 28.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.7 steals. He finished his career with a school-record 2,607 points and was a three-time all-conference pick.
