It’s finally time for rap icon Kendrick Lamar to bring the Grand National Tour to the Queen City.

On the heels of his Super Bowl LIX halftime show, he and SZA will be performing at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Saturday, May 3 — his only tour stop in North Carolina.

With it being the same time as Lovin’ Life Music Fest a little over one mile away, it’ll be a busy (and exciting!) weekend for music fans in uptown to say the least.

If you’ve got tickets to Kendrick’s show, here’s everything you need to know before you go.

What time does the show start? When do gates open for fans?

The concert is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. According to Bank of America Stadium, gates open at 5 p.m.

Fans can only get in with mobile tickets, so fans are encouraged to be prepared and arrive early with tickets easily accessible.

What are parking options for the concert?

According to Bank of America Stadium’s website, there are more than 30,000 parking options within a 10-15 minute walk that can be found and booked on the SpotHero parking reservations website and app.

What about public transportation and rideshare, ADA drop-off points?

If you want to skip the drive, the LYNX Blue Line offers light-rail service between uptown Charlotte and I-485 at South Boulevard with stops at the Carson, Brooklyn Village and Convention Center stations. Tickets for the light rail can be purchased at a Ticket Vending Machine at each station platform or online through the CATS-Pass mobile app.

For rideshares, like Uber or Lyft, fans are encouraged to get dropped off and picked up at the corner of Third and Church Streets, next to Romare Bearden Park.

Drop off for guests with disabilities is on the corner of Mint and Morehead streets.

Does Bank of America stadium have a bag policy?

Yes, only certain bags are allowed inside the stadium. Fans can only bring transparent plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” or purses, bags or clutches no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”.
