Before you cast your vote, use this guide to research what’s on the ballot.

The Charlotte Observer asked all candidates for the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners biographical and issue-focused questions in advance of the November election.

Click the names below to read their response to the candidate questionnaire. Voters pick one person for district seats and up to three people for at-large seats.

The 2022 election is Tuesday, Nov. 8. In-person early voting begins Oct. 20. Candidate Vilma Leake, District 2 incumbent, does not face competition in the November election.
