In the newest season of ABC’s hit reality show, 25 men will be vying for the heart of the franchise’s newest leading lady, 26-year-old Jenn Tran. One of those men is a military veteran from Raleigh.
Meet Marcus
Touted as a “real-life superhero,” 31-year-old Marcus Shoberg is an Army Ranger veteran who served in the military for eight years, according to his LinkedIn. He also recently founded a local software engineering company.
“The military veteran and Harvard alum is so excited to meet Jenn and hopes she’s the kind, honest, humble woman for whom he’s been searching. Marcus is a man of humility and wants to start a life with someone who shares his core values. When he isn’t working hard toward his career and his future, Marcus loves going rock climbing with friends and grilling on a Saturday night,” his Bachelorette bio says.
Aside from being outdoors cooking or climbing, he’s also a fan of “New Girl” and hopes to become an astronaut one day.
“Marcus has been in love before and is ready to settle down and start a family with his perfect match. He is looking forward to meeting Jenn and is hoping to find a relationship that will stand the test of time,” according to his bio.
