The Charlotte Observer asked all mayor and City Council candidates with a competitive primary to complete a questionnaire with biographical and issue-focused questions.
Click the names below to read their response to the candidate questionnaire. No questionnaire is available for candidates who did not respond. For mayor and district seats, voters pick one person. For at-large seats, voters pick up to four.
The 2022 primary election will be held May 17. In-person early voting began April 28.
